Postcard
I'm pretty sure this has to be one of the cutest pictures ever!!! This clearly represents their relationship. While I enjoyed my spa day Mother's Day gift (thank you babe!!) Joe took the kids to the park. At first, Joe was running around like a crazy person, trying to help Mason up the ladders and down the slide until Paige decided she wanted to help. Just precious!
Cowgirl up!!!!
Mona decided to buy Paige her first pair of cowgirl boots for her birthday! We went shopping and I tried to get her to buy a "toned down" version that might just go with more outfits, but she was having NONE of that! She insisted on the pink boots with "stuff" (ie bling) on it! Pretty sure she isn't going to stop wearing them!
Triple the Fun
I had the bright idea of making finger paint for the kids to play! I decided to invite the triplets over to the fun. Max, Ben and Kendall had so much fun. I don't think any of the kids knew what to think at first, but it didn't take long for them to really get into it! Here were the supplies: "chalk paint" made with cornstarch and water with added food coloring. "finger paint" made from water, cornstarch, salt and sugar with added food coloring, foam pain brushes and playdoh!

Summer
Paige is counting down until summer time. Not only because of the warm days, but because it's her birthday!! She's already counting down. We've had a few nice days (followed by snow). Mona took the kids to the park for fun and a picnic. Mason did awesome even with all the distractions. Everything was fine. The kids were feeding the ducks, but as soon as the ducks came towards them, Paige freaked out. Like, throw the bag of popcorn in the water, running away and screaming in terror! HAHA!
Mason and his food
This kid loves his food! Which is awesome because his sister is Miss Picky Pants!! Sometimes I think they only time he isn't whining is when he is stuffing his face!! I don't think I will ever get over seeing his chipmunk cheeks full of food!
Hard at Work
We brought Paige to work with us agin this year. Thankfully this year they had a lot of stuff for the kids. First, Paige went to daddy's work (where she's answering the phone) giving people advice on becoming a police officer. Next she went to mommy's work (playing on the ipad) and she was quite bored!! Then we went to the helicopter unit where she got to sit in one. Then her favorite....the horses! Last year, she didn't want to ride until we were almost leaving. This year she surprised us all and immediately wanted to ride. She got on with no problems and was so cute! She wanted to feed the horses (or so she said) but refused to pet them. They weren't feeding the horses at that time so we will never know if she actually would have fed them! Then we went to see the TAC (or SWAT) trucks. We saw the vehicle they use in armed barricaded suspect situations. I think Paige just thought it was a big play ground because she loved climbing all over it. And last picture, sums up our day. I think we were all equally exhausted!!
