Speaking of the nursery...we are SOOOO close to being finished. Just waiting on a few finishing touches.  We finished putting the decal on the wall and were taking pictures to send to our parents when Paige ran to the wall, stood there and said "CHEESE!!!"  I think I take too many pictures!

Peak a BOO!

We have been trying to finish up the nursery and Paige just loves playing around in there.  Sometimes if we can't find her we will find her in this glider just sitting there smiling!  She was playing shy when I took this pic.  I think we all know better than that, but it is awfully cute!

Attention Span

Lately, I've noticed that her attention span has gotten longer - which worries me and makes me happy all at the same time.  There have been a few times recently where she's been super quiet and we didn't know where in the house she was, but come to find out she would just be playing by herself in her playroom or sitting on the couch with her sticker book, just as content as can be!  This is all new to us since previously, if she was quiet she was definitely up to no good, but I think I can get used to this!!

Tie me up!

I think this stems from her cousin Cameron, but Paige loves for us to tie her "tita" aka blanket, around her neck so she can have a cape.  She is going to be "Super Girl" for Halloween so she just loves it!!  Last night she was running around with her blanket tied around her neck yelling "SUPER GIRL!" 

Scary Car Wash

Joe took his car through the car wash and typically, Paige loves it, but that's usually in my car where the back window isn't as close.  So this is Paige going through the car wash (all covered up with her blanket)....

And this is her coming out...just peeking over her little blanket!  Sooo cute!

Fall Festivities

We took Paige to a pumpkin patch and ran her ragged!!  She had so much fun running all around.  St. Louis friends, please note her shirt!  We must support our Cardinals!!!

They had a small petting farm.  Paige loves animals, but we are finding that she loves them from a distance!  She wouldn't get too close to any of them.  We tried to get her to feed a few of them, but she was too scared. 

Guess, I was taking too many pics, because she got on top of this play gym and ran over and said, "Mommy, take my picture!"

Helper

Paige loves rain boots, can ya tell?  Here is she helping LeLa bring in the recycle bin.  My favorite part is her little tonge sticking out!!

Sisterly love

Paige just loves her Sa Sa!!  Joe and I both had to work on Saturday so Paige got to go to Sa Sa's soccer game.  Sa Sa is Sylvia, her cousin.  She can say Sylvia, but choses to call her Sa Sa all the time.  It's pretty cute.  This was the cutest picture because it just shows how much they love each other!

Humpty Dumpty

And there are those boots again.  Today Paige decided she wanted to take her Humpty Dumpty out for a walk.  Not sure what is most cute about this picture, the fact that she is walking that toy or her cute little outfit?  Either way you go, she's too much!!

Lil Firefighter

Another cell phone pic.  Paige loves to help with anything she possibly can.  So today her LeLa (grandma) asked her to help water her flowers and she was more than happy to assist!!  Gotta love those boots.

BOO

First of all, sorry the pic is so blurry, it's from my cell phone.  Paige saw a bug on the outside of the windows and went to grab a towel.  She came back down with the towel and stood there as if she was going to smack the bug off the window.  Then she stood back and said, "BOO!" as if she was scaring the bug away!!  We laughed so hard!!

I haven't forgot about this

I just wanted to quickly write that I have not forgotten about this blog.  I have been unbelievably busy with work and have had zero time to upload any photos.  I have taken plenty of photos, but just can't find the time to get them uploaded.  So I just wanted to apologize.  I'm working on it!!

High Maintenance

Well, I'm afraid we (ok...I) have created a monster!!  So we were driving in the car the other day and hear Paige say something, but couldn't quite understand her.  We ask her to repeat it and she is picking at her nails and says, "I need my nails done."  UM...what???  I really don't know where she got this from since I rarely have my nails done, much less painted, but somehow she picked that up!

Last night after dinner, she was headed outside to play.  All of a sudden, she ran off to her room, grabbed her sunglasses, put them on and said, "There, I'm pretty!"  Awesome!!!

6 years!!

This past Saturday (10-1-2011) Joe and I celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary!  It's so funny how much our lives have changed in 6 short years.  Although it's a crazy one sometimes with all that we have going on,  we wouldn't change it for the world!!  For years now, I have been saving for our 10 year wedding anniversary.  We are taking a trip to Hawaii!!  So that will be 2015 and we will have a 4 and 6 year old...WOW!  When you put it like that it's crazy to even think about! 

Joe and I often joke and call ourselves "Team Merino" but it couldn't be more true.  We are truly the best team possible that always work together and are there for each other.  So Happy Six Years to us!!!
