We thought it would be cool to sneak into Paige's room after she went to sleep and put Jingle in there like he was watching over her over night. So I made Joe do it, because, honestly, I knew I would laugh too much!! Joe went in without being detected. Mission Accomplished!!!

Jingle Joe
Joe has been dying to make Jingle a zip line into our living room (I'm sure that will come) but until then Joe wanted to make Jingle repel down the railing. Paige kept calling him silly over and over (and over and over) again!
Naughty List
So, Paige had a few rough days of acting up so Jingle decided to write her a letter and tell her that Santa wants her to be a good girl! Joe said, you could see when he read it to her, it was sinking in. Not sure if it's just a fluke or what, but she's been better!
Thanks Jingle!
Thanks Jingle!
FIRST Birthday!!!!
So I now remember why I have always though having your birthday so close to Christmas was not a great idea. It's not only a stressful holiday season time, now throw in a party on top of it and you have one stressed out girl!!
However, after all the stress, the party came together perfectly, despite Mason being a little under the weather. He was a bit surprised seeing all the people at his house when he woke up, but he did great! He ate like a champ and didn't make too much of a mess with his smash cake. Unlike his sister who had to be taken directly to the tub.
Mason got a ton of great presents. He is blessed to have awesome family and friends.
Also, at his 1 year check up, Mason weighs 20lbs and is 28.5" long. Which puts him in the 35% for weight and 10% for height, no shocker there!

Crappy Pants
Or lack thereof...poor Mason has been having #2 issues once again. Poor guy. Every time we make a change in his diet, it screws him up. So he recently was switched from formula to whole milk and increased his solid food intake quite a bit. Actually on that note, this kid eats an amazing amount of food. No kidding, he eats the same as we do! He definitely eats more than his picky big sis Paige!!!
Anyway, I think we have him "cleaned out" as Mona would put it (sorry about that) and he's back to the happy little boy again!

Tight Spaces
This one was pretty hard for Paige to find, but with a little help, she finally found him and thought it was really funny!
Shedding Tears
Forgive the quality of the picture, but here is a picture of Paige's school pictures. I about cried when I saw them. I was so proud of her for smiling so pretty. And she looks like such a grown up girl in this picture!

Quiet Time
I realize I'm quite behind on my posts. I've been sick, sorry!
So Jingle decided he wanted to read to his little friends.

Drunkin Elf
I needed something quick so I threw him up in the pantry!! Now that I'm off nights we should be able to come up with cool ideas!!! Stay tuned.
Primpin
Almost had a catastrophe!! I came home from work and moved Jingle to his new place. I thought since it was going to be nice I would do my "locked out" idea. Basically, I taped him to the back door with him looking in. Well, apparently the tape didn't hold and when Joe got up in the morning he couldn't find him! Luckily he looked outside and found him. So today's picture is courtesy of Joe!!

ANTM
Mona sent this to us today. Paige was pulling Mason up the hill in the wagon, by herself. However, when I see the pic, it looks like she is totally striking a "America's Next Top Model" pose! HAHAHA!!!
TV Watcher
We needed something quick and easy tonight for Jingle, so we decided he needed to be watching some TV. When I got home, I just thought Jingle looked lonely, so I added a few friends.
Paige is having a little trouble actually looking for him so we really have to coach her. This morning, however, Joe was running behind and when he finally got her out of bed she asked, "Where's Jingle" Joe said, "He's in the living room, now let's go!!" HAHAHAH!

Gone Fishin
This one was hard for Paige to find, but she FINALLY found him fishing in her bathroom sink! She was so excited! So when I picked her up from school she said, "Did Jingle catch any fish today?" LOL!!!

Out for a stroll
I'm not sure what is more cute...Mason little head popping up or the fact that she had to bring Pooh too!!
The other night when I put Paige to bed, she asked where Mason was. I told her that he was asleep. And she said, "I really like playing with Mason." I thank God every day for her sweet personality.

Cookie monster
Jingle got into the Thin Mints last night!
I'm working nights this week so I don't always get to see her reaction to these. I bet this one will be good!
So far the comments have been:
Can you tell Jingle to be quiet when he comes back from Santa? Because I don't want him to wake me or Mason up.
Where does Jingle go?
Can he still see me at school?

Different kind of decorating....
Joe and I had to laugh this weekend because we still remember the time when we were able to decorate the entire house AND clean it up in one day. Somehow, things with two kids is a whole different story! The house was a DISASTER! But I just had it in my head that I wanted to at least decorate the tree as a family. LOL!
It was still fun though. Mason is going to be a holy terror this year, we can see it already. He loves the Hallmark single toys though and has even learned to push the button...over and over and over and over......
Paige is now at the age where she is noticing everyone's Christmas lights on their houses. She told us to ask Santa for Christmas lights for our house and maybe we would get them!
So since we didn't want to pay $400 for lights, we decided to create a happy medium and put them along our landscaping and driveway. So far, it has made her happy!

Hanging out
Jingle decided to hang out on the chandelier today!
Paige is still a little young to find him on her own, so we still have to help a little, but so far it seems to be working! Every time she acts up we tell her that Jingle is watching and she looks a little scared but shapes up!!!
Thank.you.Jingle!

Human Garbage Disposal
Ever since we introduced Mason to table food, he has been eating us out of house and home! Seriously, this kid can put away some food! No joke, he eats way more than Paige! For instance, for breakfast, he had an egg, toast, yogurt and blueberries. And I'm pretty sure he would have eaten more if we would let him. No one can have food around him without sharing. He was a hit at Thanksgiving!
On this picture, he was taking a bite of each graham cracker then place it on the table and just laugh!
Funny how we have one kid who loves to sleep (with the exception of naps) and is a picky eater and one kid who doesn't seem to like to sleep (especially at night) and is eating us out of house and home.

Jingle the Elf
We had a special visitor for Paige today...Jingle the Elf arrived! We have been talking about the Elf for a few days (1 to see how she responded and 2) to prepare her). So when she got up today, we told her that she had a package waiting for her outside. She opened the door and found a box. She brought it in and opened it up to find the little Elf. So we read through the book and she picked the name Jingle (after much much discussion). So, stay tuned for all of Jingle's antics!
Fishy
While our house was getting painting we took advantage of the family time and headed to the SeaLife Aquarium. The kids had a blast! Paige couldn't remember that it was called an aquarium so she kept calling it queen! LOL It was pretty crowded, but we still enjoyed ourselves. I really didn't think Mason would get much out of it, but about halfway through he started really paying attention and even pointed at several fish and followed them around the water. It was cute to see them together. I can't wait for them to get older so we can do much more fun family time.
