Mason has only been walking a few months, but this kid is everywhere!!! I hesitate to say this, but he hasn't started climbing yet. I fear the day he does.

Afro Circus
Paige insisted on wearing the afro circus wig while watching tv. Not sure I want to laugh or be worried! :)

Special Brownies
Not the "special" you may be thinking, but we just told Paige these were special brownies in hopes of trying to get her to eat her dinner. NOPE! This is one stubborn girl. Over the weekend, Paige ate her dinner (only because it was pizza) then asked for dessert. I asked her what she wanted and she said, "Um, brownies!" I said, "This isn't LeLa's!! We don't have brownies." So I text Mona and told her. So guess who brought over brownies the next day??? Yep! But the deal was she could only have the brownies if she ate her dinner. This girl is sooooo picky!!!
Mason on the other hand LOVED dinner and the brownies! He kept waving his hand (his way of saying MORE MORE!) Then he had to go straight in the tub! Little did these kids know, but the brownies are made with black beans so we can tell ourselves that they are healthy!!
The other picture of Mason with his pacifier in the mouth is too funny! He just started this and I believe he is doing it because his gums are hurting further back. Either way, it's funny which only eggs him on!!

Afternoon of Four
I offered to babysit for our friends today. So we had FOUR kids at once!!! I'm not going to lie, I was a little scared, but it actually went really well! Surprisingly, it seemed a little easier to have 4 kids than just 2!! Paige and Travis are around the same age so they kept each other company for most of the day and Mason and Kiley aren't too far off in age so they played. Overall it was a good day and we were happy to help our friends!!
SUNSHINE
Mother Nature decided to tease us with a few days of warm weather and sunshine!!! It was awesome! Mona took the kids to a local park and Mason had so much fun he seriously didn't want to leave. When they tried to leave Mason threw himself to the ground and cried. But Mona told him that they could come back another day. Then as if he understood, he straightened up and left the park!!
Kid songs
We made the mistake of introducing Paige to YouTube so she could watch Elmo or Mr. Sunshine or Wonder Pets. Now ALL we hear is "Can I watch kid videos" All.Day.Long!!! But it did get us this moment of sibling love! I can't get enough!!

Books and Bath
It was Dr. Suess day at Paige's school. Full on with a visit from Cat in the Hat. Of course, Paige wanted nothing to do with him, but I think she still had fun.
Paige still remains to be a great big sister. If she doesn't grow up to be a teacher or nurse, I will be surprised. She is always trying to help others. It's cute. Paige has graduated to big girl shower, but the other night she really wanted to take a bath with Mason.
We were at our friends house the other night with a girl the same age as Paige. They were upstairs playing when the little girl came and told me that Paige wasn't playing with her. When I went upstairs and asked her why she wasn't playing she said, "Well, I just want to go see my brother!" Melt.My.Heart!

Techy
Mason is obsessed, OBSESSED with anything electronic. Remotes, cell phones, iPads, computers anything! Funny how he already knows how to swipe the phone to turn it on. Or push the button to "talk" to Siri on my iPhone. Every time he gets out Paige's "DS" (which isn't a DS at all) he lays on his belly with his feet in the air. Not sure where he learned it, but I think it's the cutest ever!
Makeup Mess
Our dear sweet niece, Sylvia found this brand new makeup set hidden deep in her closet. Anyone who knows Sylvia knows that she is the furtherest thing from a girly girl there is. She asked Rene who she could give it to and good ole NayNay knew the perfect recipient...Paige. Awesome huh? This play makeup. It's real life, get everywhere, makeup! Mason has even had a few lipstick incidents! Poor guy. She loves LOVES her makeup and surprisingly has done a great job with keeping it in her room and not on the walls!
"Working" from home
With my new position at work, I was luck enough to be able to "work" from home during our recent snowmagedden. I did my best, but kinda difficult when the kids refuse to leave you alone. I finally gave in and gave Paige the iPad. What a hard life for her huh???
Our not so big guy
Oh peaceful, happy, tiny Mason. A few things to update on Mason. He had his 15 month check up and if it wasn't already apparent, Mason is short!! He is in the 3% for height, yes 3%!!! Luckily the doctor didn't seem worried or anything. His weight is 22lbs and in the 35%. He solid as a rock!! He finally started walking full time around a month ago which makes it a little difficult to find pants that fit. Yesterday, he wore a pair of jeans that were sized 6-9 months and they fit!! Oh well, like I always said, we don't breed basketball players.
Also, I think we might have figured out his little (or big) poop issue. Doc recommended we give him Miralax twice a day and it seems to be doing the trick. He also had about 3 more teeth start to pop through so the combination of the two has brought back our very happy little boy!
