Sesame Street LIVE

One of Paige's gifts for Christmas was a trip to see Sesame Street Live!  At the time, I don't think she understood what she was getting.  She knew she was going to see Sesame Street Live, or so she said, but I really don't think she understood until we got there.  When we got to the Sprint Center there was a "Play Zone" where the kids could take pictures next to the characters.  When we first got there, Ernie was there greeting kids.  This was the test...and NOPE she still doesn't like mascot looking animals, or Santa for that matter!  She screamed and clung to our legs.  Now, if they are a distance away she is all good, which is why we purposely didn't get front row tickets.

I think the first picture says it all!

This was Paige just before we left for the show - too excited!

She was slowly starting to warm up and kept wanting to be by her fav ELMO (as long as he wasn't actually moving around)!

We topped our DAY O' PAIGE off by going to Fritz's in Crown Center.  It's just a burger place but you order your food at the table by picking up the phone and ordering.  Then they deliver your food by a train that is on a track that goes around the restaurant, then drops your food off at your table.  She thought it was pretty cool.  My PaPa would have loved that place.  He used to drive trains for a living.

I guess she had a fun day, because before bedtime, she asked if we were going to see Sesame Street Live again the next day??  Um, no, sorry hun!!

Heartbreaker

Morning are the best times in the Merino Household!  Mason just had his breakfast and we woke up his sister.  He was flashing her smiles left and right and I was finally able to catch it on camera!!  Look at my little man!  Ladies, look out!

Sweetness

Paige is the sweetest big sister!  At her weekly visit to the library, she picked out a book specifically for Mason!  It melts my heart to watch them together!!

Hamburger Helper

We have such a hard time getting Paige to eat anything for dinner so we thought we would let her chose what to eat and help out!  She had fun helping, but still wouldn't eat dinner.  She's such a girl though, because she would mix up the hamburger then look at her hands like "EWWW, gross!!"

Bad Boys

Did my own little photo shoot and decided Mason was ready for the streets!!  Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do when they come for you??? :)

Big stretches and smiles!

This is daddy's favorite time of the day.  First thing in the morning smiles, followed up with big stretches!!

First date

It was spaghetti night at our house.  When we remember, we strip Paige down so she doesn't ruin any of her clothes.  It's almost like she knows because she will just start taking her clothes off.  Joe and I joke that if her first date is at an Italian Restaurant the date might get a little shocked when she just starts taking off her clothes before dinner!!! LOL

Don't blink

Quick, check out Paige actually laying down to watch a movie!!  Don't blink because it only lasts about 2 minutes, if that!!!

Raisin Hairs

She looks so excited huh?  Paige's Tia Rene dropped by to give up more toys and a quick hair cut for Ms. Paige.  She was so good and sat still the whole time.  It was just a trim, although daddy wants it to be short and bangs.  He thinks that will be easier for him to fix...little does he know!!

Surrounded

Recently, we have had to remove pretty much all of Paige's toys from her room so she would nap or sleep instead of play with them.  However, we left her books since we read to her at night.  I guess she decided she needed to read during the night, because this is how I found her in the morning!!

Anyone call a plumber?

Yes, we are terrible for laughing at this, but we couldn't help ourselves!  Poor little Paige has some issues with some of her pants fitting and staying up.  This pair of jeans was no exception.  She is such a good little helper with Mason.  So this is Paige trying to give Mason his pacifier!!  HAHA, love the crack!

We keep telling Paige that we used to carry her in the "carrier" every evening because she was so fussy.  I don't think she really understands, but all she wants to do is help!  God Love Her!  So if Mason is ever fussy, she will run and find his pacifier, or rock his bouncy seat, or, better yet, she gets the carrier out and tries to put it on saying, "I'll carry him!"  She's too cute!!

Sibling L.O.V.E

Paige absolutely loves her little brother.  She is constantly wanting to be near him, kiss him and hold him.  If I had a dollar for every time we said, "Paige, stay out of his face" we would be rich.  However, I love that she loves him so much and I only pray that this closeness will continue well into the future!

Gangsta

Yo Yo West Side Boyeeeee!!!!  Mason throwing up some gang signs!!

Momma's lil man

Check out this momma's boy!  He has totally stolen my heart.  Dad's too, but mine for sure!!  He's already getting so big and growing so fast.
