Cooties

Well, both kids are sick. Before you feel too sorry for us, it hasn't been too bad. For instance, Paige isn't talking back or talking much for that matter. She just wanted to lay on the couch and watch movies. Poor girl though. She's been burning up and was running a 102 fever and complained of her head hurting.

Mason on the other hand, we think is just teething. He too has been running a fever and kind of grumpy. If you look close enough at this picture you might be able to see his little tooth that popped through on the bottom!!

Eat you up

Mason has started giving us kisses aka slobber all over your face!!!! It has got to be the cutest and funniest thing ever!

Love lost

Well, it's starting. Paige is starting to get annoyed with Mason! She keeps saying, "No Mason. That's my property!" She also tortures him too. She loves to grab his legs when he's trying to crawl away or she calls for him to crawl to her then she slams the door on his face! Ah, sibling love!!!

Human jungle gym

That's exactly what I feel like. I realize that it's partially my fault since I choose to sit on the floor, but, dang can't a girl catch a break???

And...she's out!

Apparently Paige was quite tired! This almost never happens. It was one of those head bobbing times. And joe and I couldn't help but laugh!!!

Beauty school dropout

Sooooo...Paige decided to cut her hair. Yep, it happened. I know it's sort of like a right of passage, but still. I was in complete shock. I had Paige get herself ready for bed. So she changed her clothes, took her hair down and brushed her teeth. Then I read her a book and put her to bed. Little did I know the little stinker thought it was too difficult to get the ponytail out of her hair so she cut it!!!!! Unbeknownst to me...until I went to get ready for bed and walked in my bathroom to find her hair!!! And a lot of it! Luckily, she has so much hair that it's hard to tell. It looks like she gave herself layers. Lol!!!

Cops as parents

So Paige came home from school with 3 bruises on her arm and for a while refused to tell us what happened. So before she could tell us, I sent the teacher and email that according to Joe sounded very "cop-like"! Well, it got a reaction and a phone call from the teacher. Turns out Paige was playing with some kids at school where they held each others arms and swung around in a circle. Guess one of the kids held on a little too tight and caused some bruises. Whew...thank goodness. I immediately thought something bad, side effect of the job, I suppose!

Accessory

Paige got a new accessory!! Lol...I think only cops would find this funny, but Paige decided to put her watch on her ankle, aka, ankle bracelet! I can think of a million "crimes" she has committed to deserve this "punishment" but really we just laughed at her. Oh if she only knew!!

Little Ballerina

Paige started dance class!! It's a combination of tap and ballet and it's gotta be one of the cutest things to watch ever!! She seemed to enjoy it so we will see how it goes. With that being said, it should be noted that Paige has gotten the nickname Gracie...due to just how graceful she is! She is the only one in class that continuously fell down! Gotta love it!

Artwork

We had no idea just how much artwork little miss would be bringing home. She hasn't even been in school a month and it's out of control. My refrigerator can't handle any more artwork!!! Luckily, I found an app for that! I found an app where you can take a picture of the art work and "artkive" it! The plan is to print them in a book at the end of the year. Stay tuned to see if this actually happens.

Of all the toys....

Why do kids find it most fun to play with empty bags, boxes and tubberware containers??? Something I will never understand.

Fail

Apparently our lesson on no writing on the walls fell on deaf ears. Not only did she write with marker on Masons closer door, she wrote on Mason.

After this act, she comes out and informs us that Mason is ok, repeatedly. So we reluctantly ask, "where is Mason?" She,very matter of factly says, "In the closet!!!" yeah, she shut him in the closet after she drew on him and his closet door. Luckily, Mason didn't seem to mind at all.
