Cops as parents

So Paige came home from school with 3 bruises on her arm and for a while refused to tell us what happened. So before she could tell us, I sent the teacher and email that according to Joe sounded very "cop-like"! Well, it got a reaction and a phone call from the teacher. Turns out Paige was playing with some kids at school where they held each others arms and swung around in a circle. Guess one of the kids held on a little too tight and caused some bruises. Whew...thank goodness. I immediately thought something bad, side effect of the job, I suppose!
